Assistant Management Accountant

Weatherbys Bank Ltd is a private bank providing banking, asset finance, insurance and tax services and is part of a family owned group with a 240 year involvement in the horse racing industry. We are currently looking to recruit a professional individual to join the Banking Finance team which provides accountancy and regulatory services to Weatherbys Bank Ltd and its asset finance subsidiary Arkle Finance Ltd.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts and reports for the asset finance company
• Responsibility for the monthly accounting entries and reports for the consumer credit trading division of the asset finance company
• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and reports of the Bank
• Providing support to the Finance team to assist with the smooth running of the department

The ideal candidate will have at least two years management accounts experience, be either qualified by experience, studying for ACCA/CIMA or AAT qualified and wanting to progress with their professional studies. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential skills for this role as well as working to strict deadlines.
