Private Banking Assistant

A vacancy has arisen for a confident individual to work as part of the Private Banking team.  The successful candidate will assist in developing client relationships in terms of quality and quantity of lending, deposit volumes and income generated from other group banking products including, foreign exchange, investment and wealth planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle the daily queries relating to Private Banking and Business clients.
  • Setting up of new client accounts, including completion of all documentation.
  • Review and action the daily and monthly portfolio reports including the associated administration.
  • Completing account administration, including client transfers and card ordering documentation.
  • Provide advice and relevant information to internal and external customers.
  • Carrying out client instructions whilst ensuring excellent standards of customer service.

You will possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in writing and in person. Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail whilst working to tight deadlines is essential. Good PC skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are essential. A good understanding and interpretation of financial accounts would be advantageous.

This role is based in our Wellingborough office.
