Talented hurdler Ubi Ace has been transferred from Tim Walford's stable to the Jonjo O'Neill yard.
The six-year-old was a Listed winner at Sandown in December, and was last seen finishing a brave second in the John Smith's Scottish County Hurdle at Musselburgh.
Walford said on Tuesday: "He's been sold and has gone to Jonjo's today. I think he'll now be owned by Gay Smith and will run in the County Hurdle. It was with a heavy heart, but the offer was too good to turn down."
The North Yorkshire-based trainer continued: "I told the old owner we could buy a few more horses and have enough in the bank to pay for the training fees for a few years.
"I was thinking of running him in the Imperial Cup at Sandown on Saturday, but business is business."
