William Buick will return to action on Saturday after giving up his one ride at Ascot on Friday evening due to illness.

The Classic-winning rider relinquishes the mount of Tight Lipped in the 1.3 Million attheraces.com Users Handicap.

Buick's agent Michael Haggas said: "He's not feeling great, and you cannot ride if you are not at your 100% best. It's nothing serious, though, and he'll definitely be back on Saturday."

Buick has a good book of rides at Lingfield on Saturday, when he is due to partner Shantaram in the Betfred Derby Trial and Dinvar Diva in the Oaks Trial.

He also receives the leg-up on Fallen For You in the Chartwell Fillies' Stakes.
