Henry De Bromhead reports Sizing Europe to be in excellent shape ahead of an intended return to competitive action at Gowran next month.

The brilliant 10-year-old lost his Queen Mother Champion Chase crown when second to Finian's Rainbow in March but was last seen beating Realt Dubh in the Boylesports.com Champion Chase at the Punchestown Festival the following month.

Writing on his Facebook page, the trainer said: "Delighted to report Sizing Europe in great form ahead of his intended seasonal return at Gowran Park on October 6.

"He's in savage form at home, he almost seems like a two year old!

"We're really looking forward to running him. If all goes well then we'll look at races like the Fortria at Navan and the three-mile Champion Chase at Down Royal."

Bloodstock Al: @t_woots Hope you're right, he's in my 10 to Follow! Pedigree suggests he's a miler so hopefully Royal Ascot next stop.
Bloodstock Al: Kentucky Dynamite's 2 stakes wnrs (Surenses wnr Lion d'Anvers the other), plus 2 other stakes-placed rnrs from a 3yo crop of only 33 foals.
Bloodstock Al: Prix de Pontarme winner Mutin a 2nd stakes winner of 2013 for Haras du Quesnay's Kentucky Dynamite, a Gr3 winning son of Kingmambo.
Bloodstock Al: @Cozza84 yes big chance I'd say!
