Yet to place in three starts. Well beaten at 66-1 behind Splendid Light when eighth of 10 on his latest outing at Kempton over 1m 3f last month. Runs from 6lb out of handicap.
VELOCE showed a likeable attitude when striking on his debut for the Ian Williams stable over an extended 1m5f at Wolverhampton last month and, entitled to strip fitter for that first start since October, he should follow up off this 4lb higher mark. Kavaloti is well treated on his best all-weather form and makes plenty of appeal with Ryan Moore riding for the first time since last May, while C&D scorer Marcus Antonius landed a hurdle race at this venue in February and is no forlorn hope.
