BIG BUCK'S, successful in four Cheltenham World Hurdles and bidding to complete the same sequence in this event, has a clear-cut opportunity to continue his remarkable winning streak. Paul Nicholls' brilliant hurdler has won 16 races on the bounce since having his attentions turned back to timber and can see off the challenges of his two stablemates, Tidal Bay and the relatively unexposed Poungach. Smad Place, only a five-year-old himself, ran a fine third to Big Buck's at Cheltenham and could yet have more offer, although he will probably be seen to best effect when tackling fences next term. Restless Harry, Across The Bay and Crack Away Jack also ran at the Festival but were all beaten out of sight in handicaps, while last year's third Won In The Dark hasn't been in the same form since.
