Race Verdict

It's difficult to look past SPECIAL PORTRAIT. The 8-year-old stepped up on a number of 'nearly' efforts when bolting up over an extended 3m at Carlisle last time and, with this longer trip not a concern, he should have few problems following up. Bright Cloud was 19-lengths back in second on that occasion and could fill the runner-up position again with Belon Gale and Oranger not showing a great deal between the flags recently.
