Race Verdict
Covert Decree ended last year's turf season with two successes and with a win to his name on this track already, he has every chance if fully wound up. His lack of a recent run may count against him, though, especially with PITTODRIE STAR having shown some really good form when second at Musselburgh last time. Al Khawaneej won at Kempton when last seen in August but is 14lb higher here, while Cotton King appeared to struggle off his revised mark last time and has a bit to prove.
