L Corcoran
Successful in a NH flat race and a chase at 2m and 2m 2f on soft and yielding ground, but last win was over two years ago. Pulled up 4 out when 33-1 at Chepstow over 2m 3f (good to soft) in a chase won by Back Bob Back last month on his latest outing.
It could pay to side with TONIC MELLYSSE in what looks a tricky 'getting out stakes' for punters. Falling over fences twice from his last three outings isn't the ideal preparation, but he is sure to go close if recapturing the sort of form shown when runner-up at Prestbury Park in October and, in 7lb conditional rider Harry Derham, he has a more than capable partner. The hat-trick seeking Katchmore warrants plenty of respect but must improve again, while the locally trained Teshali is no forlorn hope.
