Sir H R A Cecil
Dam a lightly raced maiden.
Sir Henry Cecil rarely visits this track and has an excellent record when he does (5-12 in the last five years prior to today). Money for his newcomer Ukrainian Princess would thus be very interesting, but with the benefit of racecourse experience to his name, BLADES LAD gets the vote instead. The Richard Fahey-trained selection was outpaced over 7f and 1m last year so this stiffer test looks ideal as he bids to strike on his seasonal return. Fortieth And Fifth is bred to appreciate this step up in trip and is another to consider.
