Mark Gillard
Successful in two hurdle races at 2m 6f on soft and heavy ground. Well beaten at 5-1 behind Earcomesthedream when sixth of 13 on his latest outing in a hurdle race at Hereford over 2m 6f (good to soft) last month. Having his first run for a new stable today.
KAP WEST has been in splendid form of late, following his impressive Hereford success with a solid runner-up effort at Towcester last week. The handicapper has left his mark unchanged following that run and he comes into this in much better form than today's rivals, the pick of which would appear to be Krackatara, returning from a two-month break having last been seen finishing in midfield over hurdles at Wincanton in February. The Grifter also returns from a break today and he might fare best of the rest.
