AMRON LAD could prove difficult to beat representing local trainer Donald McCain. A progressive sort, he was mightily impressive when striking at Haydock last time and should follow up providing he can reproduce that level of performance on this softer ground. His stablemate Record Breaker has been knocking on the door and wouldn't be without a chance in receipt of 10lb, but Laveroque rates the bigger threat after a promising fourth on his hurdling debut at Kempton.
