Race Verdict
Balady gained some valuable experience in maiden company as a juvenile for John Dunlop and cannot be overlooked on her reappearance but Richard Hannon's colt edges it and POOLE HARBOUR can open his account. He burst onto the scene when narrowly beaten in a hot Newbury maiden last May but failed to justify odds of 4-7 at Ascot the time after and was put away for the season as a result. The son of Elusive City can benefit from a reappearance Newmarket spin last month, however, and this looks a good opportunity if able to handle testing underfoot conditions. Ta Ajabb and Unex Annigoni are others to keep a close eye on.
