Race Verdict

SPINNING RIDGE went close in a similar race at Wolverhampton last month when held up over the extended 1m but if allowed to take closer order throughout now eased to 1m, Ron Harris' all-weather specialist can recapture the winning thread. Legal Legacy has found it tough to win in handicaps and wasn't far behind Penitent in Listed company three starts ago, so the six-year-old is also worth considering, along with On The Cusp.
