Race Verdict
CUMBRIAN CRAIC made a lasting impression when scoring by six lengths on his Doncaster debut last month and although the second and third have let the form down since, Tim Easterby's charge looked very professional, handled the soft ground well and finished his race off strongly. He should take plenty of beating, with Tatlisu and Mrs Brown's Boy feared most. Botanic Garden, Hoofalong, Lucky Lodge and Citius receive 5lb from the previous winners and the latter looks most likely to make it count, despite throwing the race away when odds-on favourite at Kempton last time.
