Race Verdict
A finale that isn't lacking intrigue can go the way of AQUALUNG. Ian Williams' lightly-raced gelding has been dropped 9lb and hasn't been seen since finishing fourth over 3m3f at Stratford in May 2010, but the Midlands-based handler is expected to have him fully wound up for this reappearance and the drop in trip under Paddy Brennan could be significant. Royal Kicks came down at the last when seemingly beaten at Stratford latest but Sue Smith's charge can recapture the winning thread if jumping issues have been addressed. Light The World is another interesting contender.
