GREAT HEAVENS looks the one to beat here. A full-sister to King George winner Nathaniel, she showed that she has improved a fair bit from two to three years when readily landing her maiden in similar testing conditions at Yarmouth five weeks ago and connections could well be tempted into having a crack at next week's Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes if she produces a taking performance today. Devine Guest was only 5 1/2-lengths behind subsequent Oaks fourth Vow on her racecourse debut over C&D in April and she should go close here if stepping forward from that, while it looks too soon to write off C&D scorer Inchina who may not have handled the twists and turns of Chester when running below par last time.
