Race Verdict

Xenophon could not live with the progressive Jolly Roger here last time but he performed with credit nonetheless and that form gives him claims here. Dubawi Dancer is considered and Le Corvee should not be overlooked but, in a tricky contest, the one to beat could be DORMOUSE. He struggled in a competitive Stratford handicap last time but the form of his previous second at Warwick, off 1lb higher than his current mark of 109, would make him a leading contender today.
