Race Verdict
The feeling is Spivey Cove competed in three fairly hot maidens during the June/July period and he could surprise a few on this first handicap start, while Mrs Warren faces an easier assignment than that set on her handicap debut at Ascot 12 days ago and could be dangerous to leave out of calculations. The vote, however, goes to the in-form WINDSOR ROSE. She made the most of a soft lead in selling company at Ripon latest and will prove difficult to peg back if allowed to dominate again.
