Farquhar entering the final furlong

Walking The Courses charity campaigner Richard Farquhar has moved almost within sight of the finishing line at the end of his 3,000-mile marathon journey.

Farquhar covered more than half of the final leg between Huntingdon and Newmarket yesterday and, after taking a break to watch today's action on the Rowley Mile, hopes to continue the final 17 miles tomorrow. Walking The Courses is aiming to raise more than £1 million for Racing Welfare and Pancreatic Cancer UK.
