New format for Goffs UK Spring Sale

Following on from the success of the inaugural Goffs UK Aintree Sale, which recorded a top price of £335,000 for a Point-to-Pointer, entries are now being taken for the Spring HIT Sale which follows a new format in 2016.

The Horses-in-Training section on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 May will follow a day of NH Stores on Tuesday 17 May, for which 260 Lots are catalogued.

The first day of Horses-in-Training will feature the annual Million In Mind dispersal as well as a section dedicated to a selected offering of the best Point-to-Pointers and young form horses from the UK and Ireland. The Million In Mind consignment will include the Grade 2 winner Le Prezien (pictured, second right), who finished second in the Grade 1 Mersey Novices' Hurdle, and the Listed winning The Organist.

The session of young form horses will be stabled together in the yards adjacent to the Sales Pavilion to recreate the successful boutique style atmosphere that saw six horses realise over £100,000 at Aintree. These horses will also be sold with race videos that will be available on the new touch screens throughout the Goffs UK Sales Complex.

Moving the Horses-in-Training section of this sale to Wednesday and Thursday enables supplementary entries for horses that have won or been placed during the previous weekend.

The sale will conclude on Thursday 19 May with more dispersals from all of the leading NH trainers in the UK and Ireland.

The Spring HIT sale already contains a strong list of horses and entries can be made online by Monday 25 April or by calling Goffs UK on +44(0)1450 372222.
