Impressive weekend Point-to-Point winners Samco (pictured) and Carter McKay head five supplementary entries for Thursday’s Goffs UK Aintree Sale, with the winning pointer Predict a Riot also added to the catalogue today.

11A Samcro (4yo gelding by Germany) comes into the sale after a most impressive Point-to-Point victory at Monksgrange on Saturday. The Goffs Land Rover graduate, who shares his sire with Faugheen, impressed all with P2P.ie commenting he “looked every inch a star of the future with a most impressive debut success” which the four-year-old won as he liked as he “produced a turn of foot that none of his rivals could match as he breezed clear in a matter of strides in between the final fences.” An imposing individual, Samco is from the family of Master of the Hall, Sound Man and Pairofbrowneyes.
 
16A Carter McKay (5yo gelding by Martaline) also impressed when winning his maiden Point-to-Point at Ballynoe on Sunday. P2P.ie commented that he “demonstrated himself to be a very sharp type with a wide-margin victory in testing conditions” and “produced an emphatic turn of foot to quicken clear of his rivals in a matter of strides in between the final two fences.”
 
25 Predict a Riot (5yo gelding by Flemensfirth) won his maiden Point-to-Point at Monksgrange on 27 March by four lengths. P2P.ie labelled the son of Flemensfirth “a progressive type who ran out a brave winner in very testing conditions.”
 
The Aintree Sale will offer a total of 24 horses after racing on Thursday 7 April at Aintree Racecourse in the Winner's Enclosure. The remainder of the entries are listed below:
 
1 Constantine Bay – 5YO Gelding by Kayf Tara
This son of the Champion British Sire Kayf Tara was the winner of his most recent Point-to-Point at Lydstep by six lengths. He was second on his only other start on debut.
 
2 Black Thunder – 9yo Gelding by Malinas
This four time winning chaser, including at Grade 2 level, gives potential buyers the chance of immediate big race success as he will be offered for sale with an entry in the Crabbie's Grand National which is run on Saturday 9 April. *Potential buyers are encouraged to register as an owner with Weatherbys and the BHA prior to the sale to ensure immediate transfer of Ownership following the sale.
 
3 Competition – 4yo Gelding by Multiplex
This 4yo showed plenty of ability when finishing second on his Bumper debut in the N.H. Flat race at Wetherby on 22 March. He will be offered with an entry in the Grade 2 Weatherby’s Champion N.H. Flat Race run on Friday 8 April at Aintree.
 
4 Big Robin – 4yo Filly by Robin des Champs
This daughter of Robin des Champs is out of a Kahyasi mare and won her 4yo Maiden Point-to-Point at Inch on 23 March in good style on only her second start.
 
6 Give Me A Copper – 6yo Gelding by Presenting
This own brother to Presenting Copper and half-brother to Copper Bleu, was the hugely impressive winner of the NH Flat race at Cork on 27 March by 6 ½ lengths. On his only other run, he was the 8 length winner of a Maiden Point-to-Point at Athlacca.
 
7 Black Op – 5yo Gelding by Sandmason
This relation to Balthazar King and Afsoun was the 25 length winner of his Maiden Point-to-Point at Loughanmore on 28 March on his first and only start.
 
8 Sumkindofking – 5yo Gelding by King’s Theatre
An own brother to Grade 2 chase winner Minella Foru, this son of King’s Theatre was the nine length winner of his Maiden Point-to-Point at Inch on 23 March having been placed third on his debut.
 
9 Onthepulse – 4yo Gelding by Oscar
A debut winner of his 4yo Maiden Point-to-Point at Cragmore on 21 February.
 
10 It’s Obvious – 4yo Gelding by Tobougg
This attractive son of Tobougg was placed second in a Maiden Point-to-Point at Monksgrange on only his second start on 27 March. Beaten only 3 lengths, the first pair were well clear of the rest of the field.
 
11 Garran City – 5yo Gelding by City Honours
This 5yo was the 5 length winner of his Maiden Point-to-Point on his first start at The Pigeons on 6 March.
 
12 Ckalco des Loges – 4YO Gelding by Balko
This 4yo son of promising young sire Balko (sire of the Grade 1 winner Gitane du Berlais), was the impressive 12 length winner of his Maiden Point-to-Point at Maisemore Park on 26 March on his first and only start.
 
13 The Dutchman - 6yo Gelding by King's Theatre
This winning own brother to The Pirate's Queen and Katie Too was last seen finishing a close second in the Grade 2 Premier Kelso Hurdle behind Le Prezien.
 
14 Topofthegame – 4yo Gelding by Flemensfirth
This son of Flemensfirth was a very impressive nine length winner of his debut Maiden Point-to-Point at Belclare (where Best Mate graduated) on 13 March. He comes from the family of Grade 1 winner Identity Thief.
 
15 Oscar Mor – 4yo Gelding by Oscar
The eight length winner of his debut Point-to-Point on 12 March at Kirkistown, a track where Grade 1 winner Annacotty also won his Maiden.
 
16 Silent Steps – 5yo Filly by Milan
Another winner from Liscarroll, this well bred filly was the five length winner of her Maiden Point-to-Point on 20 March. She is from the family of Tourist Attraction and Clondaw Kaempfer.
 
17 Alfred Roller – 4yo Gelding by Mahler
This son of young and upcoming sire Mahler, was placed third in a Maiden Point-to-Point on his first and only start at Liscarroll on 20 March.
 
18 Solighoster – 4yo Gelding by Loup Solitaire
This 4yo was the winner of a Maiden Point-to-Point on his first and only run on 27 March. Having blundered at the last fence, he battled back well to win.
 
19 Judgement Day – 4yo Gelding by Martaline
A 4yo son of top class sire Martaline, he was the impressive winner of the 4yo Maiden Point-to-Point at Liscarroll (where horses such as Denman and Peddlers Cross graduated) on 20 March by three lengths.
 
20 Thomas Do – 5yo Gelding by Flemensfirth
This gelding was a very impressive fifteen length winner of his Maiden Point-to-Point at Belclare having been placed second twice on his previous two runs. He is out of an own sister to Grade 1 winner Strong Promise.
 
21 Another Stowaway – 4YO Gelding by Stowaway
Finished third on his debut in a Point-to-Point at Lingstown on 13 March having been ‘caught wide on the home bend and had to jink to avoid the rail’. He comes from the family of multiple Grade 2 winner Super Tactics.

22 Champion Chase – 4YO Gelding by Voix Du Nord
A son of top class sire Voix du Nord (sire of high class jumpers Taquin de Seuil and Vroum Vroum Mag etc.), this 4yo finished second on his debut in a Maiden Point-to-Point at Curraghmore on 27 March only beaten three-parts-of-a-length by the winner.

23 Happy Hollow – 4YO Gelding by Beat Hollow
This 4YO has won both of his starts in N.H. Flat races including the hugely impressive 4 ½ length win at Wetherby on 22 March carrying a penalty. The Racing Post commented that ‘he travelled up nicely and scored with loads up his sleeve’.

24 Geordie des Champs – 5YO Gelding by Robin des Champs
A son of a high class sire, he finished second on his debut in a N.H. Flat race at Chepstow on 27 February. He then took his chance in the Championship Bumper at Cheltenham prior to recovering quickly to win at Ffos Las on 31 March having travelled well throughout the race.
