Andre Fabre's exciting colt Rabdan is set to get a taste of Epsom in the Investec Blue Riband Trial next week.
The Al Shaqab Racing-owned colt was added to the Derby field, along with five others, at the second entry stage after winning at Saint-Cloud earlier this month.
The son of Frankel created a big impression when winning by nine lengths in heavy ground on his second start, but Fabre is not getting carried away.
"I'm not too excited about him, to be fair, I think he was a bit flattered by the surface," said Fabre.
"He has been entered at Epsom for the Trial, but there are not big expectations. I just think it is a good opportunity to get experience of the track and see where we are going with him.
"Obviously I was pleased with how he did it, but I'd like to see him do something like that again before I get excited.
"We don't have many options here, so he probably will go to Epsom (on Wednesday). A lot of the Frankels stay really well."
