The Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale at Doncaster will offer a catalogue full of yearlings by the top 2YO sires and out of leading juvenile families.
The Premier Sale has celebrated over 80 2YO race wins and counting in 2016 with graduates headed by the Group 2 winners Tis Marvellous and Prince of Lir. This year’s catalogue looks well placed to continue that success offering yearlings by all the current leading 2YO sires this season including Kodiac, Dark Angel, Acclamation, Sir Prancealot, Exceed and Excel, Helmet, Mayson, Elzaam, Foxwedge, Zebedee, Dandy Man etc.
American based sires are having a hugely successful 2YO season in Europe this year and the catalogue also includes yearlings by USA sires such as Scat Daddy, sire of the unbeaten 2YOs Caravaggio and Lady Aurelia, and Gemologist whose first 2YOs are making a big impression in America and include the 5L debut winner Theory and 8L debut winner Spirituality. The Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale will be held on Tuesday 23 & Wednesday 24 August and will be followed by the Silver Yearling Sale on Thursday 25 August.
