Clive Cox is keen to adopt a patient approach with impressive first-time-out winner Perfect Clarity.
Although the daughter of Nathaniel holds an entry in the Fillies' Mile at Newmarket in October, the Lambourn handler wants to take things one step at a time.
The two-year-old made light work of her opponents when she easily won an extended mile maiden at Nottingham last Tuesday.
Cox said: "She did well for a Nathaniel first time out and I am really happy for her. She came back from the race fine.
"We will campaign her with a little bit of patience. I would just like to be sensible for a couple of weeks before making any plans.
"I'd be pretty lukewarm on the Fillies' Mile at the moment but I wouldn't have entered her if I didn't think she was good enough.
"We will just keep our heads down as she just needs a bit of time."
