Goffs Orby Sale catalogue now online

The release of the catalogue comes off the back of a good weekend for Orby sale graduates with the Mark Johnston-trained Frankuus winning the Group 3 Rose of Lancaster Stakes at Haydock Park and Washington DC victorious in the Group 3 Phoenix Sprint Stakes at the Curragh whilst 2yo Beckford was only beaten by the narrowest of margins in the Group 1 Keeneland Phoenix Stakes.

Gracing this year’s front cover is €105,000 Orby purchase Ribchester (pictured), winner of 5 races and over £2 million including stunning victories in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Group 1 Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes this season. Ribchester also has the distinction of being the highest rated horse in Europe in the Longines World’s Best Racehorse Rankings, and is the best horse in the world to have been sold at a European sale.

The catalogue features some of the finest yearlings by Australia, Dansili, Dark Angel, Dubawi, Frankel, Galileo, Invincible Spirit, Kingman, Nathaniel, Oasis Dream, Scat Daddy, Sea The Stars, Shamardal and many more top sires as well as pages full of the most prolific families in the Stud Book.

The Orby sale begins at 10am on Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 September.  It will be followed on Thursday 28 September by the one day Sportsman’s Sale. The Sportsman’s Sale catalogue will be available online from Friday 11 August.
