Buyers can expect an even greater selection of quality commercial types at this year’s Goffs Sportsman’s Sale which takes place from 3 – 4 October, immediately following the two day Orby Sale. Due to increased demand from vendors for places the sale has been extended to two days with 389 yearlings catalogued. The catalogue is now available online.
This year’s cover star is Sir Dancealot who is a great example of the quality and value to be found at the Sportsman’s Sale. Bought for just €30,000, the David Elsworth-trained Sir Dancealot (pictured, centre) won a second consecutive Group 2 Qatar Lennox Stakes at Goodwood this season bringing his Group wins to four and prize money to over €700,000.
