Previous winners Felix Yonger and Twinlight form a formidable twin assault for Willie Mullins in the rescheduled Kerry Group Hilly Way Chase at Cork on Sunday.

Last year's winner Felix Yonger made a pleasing seasonal reappearance when third behind Road To Riches in last month's Clonmel Oil Chase and with stable jockey Ruby Walsh set to be in action at Navan, he is the preferred choice of Mullins' second rider Paul Townend.

The difficult-to-predict Twinlight, the mount of Danny Mullins, was pulled up on his return to action at Navan, but was an emphatic winner of this Grade Two prize in 2013.

The fixture must survive an 8am precautionary inspection on raceday.

"It's great to see the race rescheduled," said the champion trainer.

"Twinlight will love the ground but it might not be Felix Yonger's ground. But he's in good form and he won this last year and Twinlight won the year before.

"We had Un De Sceaux in the entries but I want to keep him back for Leopardstown at Christmas.

"It's a good race to win, a Grade Two, and hopefully one of these two might do it.

"I think Felix Yonger is the fresher horse."

Shark Hanlon's stable star Hidden Cyclone turns out just seven days after unseating Brian Hayes in the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase.

Hanlon said: "We scoped him on Friday morning and it was all-clear, so he'll take his chance if the meeting goes ahead.

"It's a small field, only five runners, and I suppose Felix Yonger is the one we've got to beat.

"Our horse hardly had a race last week and it might actually leave him spot-on for this.

"If he comes back to the form of his win at Navan the time before, he should run a big race.

"Hopefully he'll get back on track."

The field is completed by Days Hotel, who won this prize for Henry de Bromhead in 2012 and was runner-up to Hidden Cyclone at Navan last month, and the Gordon Elliott-trained Bright New Dawn.
