Gary Moore is keen to keep a low profile for the time being with impressive first-time-out hurdles winner Krugermac.

The Horsham trainer has said the four-year-old is likely to head to Lingfield for the Oxtead Novices' Hurdle on Saturday, provided the ground does not become testing.

After finishing second on his sole bumper start in Ireland, the gelding created a big impression on his stable debut for Moore when running away with a maiden hurdle at Ascot last month.

Moore said: "Krugermac will go to Lingfield as long as the ground is not too heavy. He is a straightforward horse that we hold in high regard.

"I didn't want to run him at Sandown on Friday in the Winter Novices' Hurdle as that would have been a step far too soon for him."
