Hidden Cyclone is set for a swift return to action in the rescheduled Kerry Group Hilly Way Chase at Cork on Sunday.

The Grade Two contest and the rest of the card had to be cancelled due to flooding last weekend, but was quickly moved forward a week.

Hidden Cyclone only made it as far as the ninth fence before parting company with Brian Hayes in Sunday's John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase, but jumped the rest of the track riderless and his trainer Shark Hanlon reports him to have returned home safe and sound.

He said: "He'll definitely go to Cork on Sunday, all being well.

"He had no race the last day. I think he just got blinded at the fence and got rid of Brian, but he jumped every fence after that and came back absolutely fine.

"Hopefully he'll bounce back to winning ways this weekend."

Hidden Cyclone is one of eight entries for the two-mile-one-furlong feature, with last year's winner Felix Yonger, 2013 scorer Twinlight and 2012 victor Days Hotel all in contention.

Bright New Dawn, Clarcam, Jacksonslady and Mozoltov complete the list.

There are 11 possible runners in the Grade Three Kerry Group Stayers Novice Hurdle, with Willie Mullins responsible for Gangster and Stone Hard.

The fast-improving Damut could bid for his fifth victory on the spin for trainer Joseph Dullea.

Mick Winters' in-form mare Perfect Woman is the star name among eight entries for the other Grade Three of the afternoon, the Kerry Group European Breeders Fund Mares Novice Chase.
