Two of this weekend's fixtures in Ireland are under threat from the weather.

Tramore's meeting on Saturday is subject to an 8.30am precautionary inspection, while Cork's Sunday card, featuring the Kerry Group Hilly Way Chase, must survive an 8am precautionary inspection on raceday.

The Cork fixture has already been rescheduled once due to waterlogging and while both the chase and hurdle courses are raceable at present, more adverse weather is on its way and the ground is described as heavy.

The course at Tramore is currently raceable with the ground described as heavy on the hurdle track and soft, heavy in places on the chase course.

However, more rain is on its way and officials felt it would be prudent to call an inspection.
