Two-year-old son Gear Up struck in the Criterium de Saint-Cloud, while Subjectivist and Tawkeel were also on the mark in France in the Prix Royal-Oak and Prix Saint-Alary respectively. Over the border in Germany, Donjah landed the Preis von Europa.

Looking further afield, Exultant made it five elite victories since being sold to Hong Kong and Twilight Payment became his second winner of the Melbourne Cup after Cross Counter.

Teofilo is the sire of 21 Group/Grade 1 winners in total, among 163 black-type performers worldwide.

He also unlocked a new personal achievement in 2020 when Vertem Futurity hero Mac Swiney became his first top-level winner as a broodmare sire.

Teofilo will stand at Kildangan Stud at a fee of €30,000 in 2021.
