A filly from the first crop of dual Derby winner Camelot topped the opening session of Goffs February Sale, a day that was dedicated to weanlings.

Consigned by Abbeville & Meadow Court Studs, the sister to two Stakes winners (Lot 160 - pictured) was purchased by Hamish Alexander for €80,000 and is expected to return to Goffs for the Orby Sale in September.

Another set to reappear at Goffs in the Autumn is a son of Raven’s Pass consigned by Clonagh Stables that was bought by Julie Lynch for €68,000.  The colt (Lot 78) is a brother to the Group 3 winner Dingle View.  Tally Ho Stud purchased a Kodiac filly out of dual winner Excel Yourself (Lot 20) from Springwell Stud for €64,000, while another highlight of Day 1 was a Camacho colt from Killarkin Stud (Lot 223) out of a daughter of multiple Stakes winner Moon Unit, purchased by Richard Knight for €57,000.
