This afternoon's high-profile meeting at Ffos Las is subject to a precautionary inspection at 9am.
Conditions at the Carmarthenshire circuit are described as heavy but raceable after 10 millimetres of rain overnight, but clerk of the course Keith Ottesen feels it prudent to check on conditions later in the morning due to the threat of further rain.
He said: "It's heavy and wet, but right now we could race.
"We're having a look at 9am as we want to keep people informed more than anything.
"The intention is to get the meeting on and see how we go.
"We'll see where we are at 9am and take it from there."
The seven-race card is due to feature the Dribuild Ltd Welsh Champion Hurdle and the Dribuild Construction West Wales National, with both races scheduled to be shown live on Channel 4.
