Kim Bailey has Lingfield in mind for Wolverhampton winner Sunblazer

Sunblazer will be aimed at the All-Weather Marathon Championships Conditions Stakes at Lingfield on Good Friday after the in-form grey claimed a nice prize at Wolverhampton.

A 6-1 chance for the 32Red.com Handicap, Willy Twiston-Davies' partner gained a clear lead two furlongs out and was good value for his length-and-a-quarter defeat of the unlucky-in-running Haines.

Sunblazer has now won three of his last four races but will face an even stiffer examination on March 25.

Trainer Kim Bailey said: "We are delighted with that.

"It's a nice prize to win and he's shown extraordinary improvement.

"We'll go to Lingfield on Good Friday now. We have to go there as it's worth such a lot of money for even finishing in the first three.

"He's a lovely horse to have and we are very happy with him."

The other big race on the card, the Ladbrokes Conditions Stakes, was won in some style by Mindurownbusiness.

Roger Varian's inmate (1-2 favourite) was much too good for solid yardstick Sirius Prospect, who went down by three lengths.
