Nicky Henderson will check Peace And Co for any potential breathing issues after he disappointed at Sandown on Saturday.
Last season's Triumph Hurdle winner looked more composed than on his seasonal debut at Cheltenham in December, but he could still only finish third in a Listed race at the Esher circuit.
Henderson said: "We'll look at his breathing apparatus in the morning.
"I've not seen anything else untoward, he might have made a little noise but he's otherwise fine.
"Effectively, it was his first run since the Triumph as at Cheltenham he just sprinted for a mile.
"We wanted to go to Haydock but he wasn't quite right and we missed three days.
"It's so hard for the five-year-olds. Top Notch is the same, where can we run him?
"Peace And Co will come on an awful lot - he was big and burly - but he'll have to, of course."
