On the evening of Monday 7 March, a week before the roar of the crowd fills the air for the start of the 2016 Cheltenham Festival, Weatherbys are hosting their Cheltenham Festival Preview Evening in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK and Racing Welfare.

Starting at 5.30pm, at Weatherbys Wellingborough Head Office (NN8 4BX), an expert panel will preview all of the major races that lie ahead over the four days of the Festival.

Compère for the evening is the genial Colin Brown, who rode over 400 winners and is perhaps best known for winning 17 races on the great Desert Orchid.

Joining him, on the panel, are Racing UK presenter Lydia Hislop; leading trainers Ian Williams and Lucy Wadham, both of whom will have runners at Cheltenham; esteemed bloodstock agent David Minton, who bought Festival contenders Sprinter Sacre, The New One and My Tent Or Yours; top national hunt jockey Will Kennedy, who will be riding at the Festival; William Hill PR guru Jon Ivan-Duke, who regularly appears on Channel 4 Racing, At The Races and Racing UK; and Matt Tombs, author of the Weatherbys Cheltenham Festival Betting Guide and The Road To Cheltenham.

Tickets for the event, which includes supper and drinks as well as a free £5.00 bet from William Hill, are priced at £12.50 and available online from Bettrends Shop or from Chris Hill at Weatherbys on 01933 44007 or [email protected].
