This afternoon's meeting at Exeter will have to pass a precautionary inspection at 8am.
Temperatures at the track dipped to minus 2.5C overnight, prompting officials to take an early look.
The take offs and landings at the track have been covered and a rise in temperatures is expected.
That initial check proved inconclusive with a further inspection planned for 9.30am.
