Twelve first and second season stallions will feature in the 2016 TBA Flat Stallion Parade on Thursday, February 4th at Tattersalls, Newmarket.

This year the Stallion Parade will take place in the Sales Ring at the earlier time of 9.30 am – immediately preceding the start of the February Sale.

The following stallions will be parading in alphabetical order:

This popular event gives breeders the unique opportunity to view 12 stallions from studs around the country at one venue. Each stallion will be shown individually in the Sales Ring with commentary from television and radio presenter, Gina Harding and Tattersalls’ Matt Prior.

Following the parade breeders are invited to inspect the stallions in Left Yard, and speak with the stallions’ connections about their 2016 season mating plans.  Refreshments will be available during the morning for members and guests in the Sales Ring Bar, where the TBA team will be on hand to help with any enquiries.

Commenting on the parade, Louise Kemble, TBA Chief Executive said: “The TBA Flat Stallion Parade has once again received a high number of applications from stallion studs around the country, and we are pleased to welcome seven first season sires to this year’s line-up. The selected twelve stallions will provide owners with a great opportunity to view a number of options for their mares before the Tattersalls February Sale. The TBA also wishes to thank Tattersalls for their ongoing support of the event.”
