More high-end Pointers head 27 Goffs UK January Sale supplementary entries

A total of 27 supplementary entries, featuring another draft of high-end Pointers, have been taken for the Goffs UK January Sale at Doncaster which will be held next week on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 January. 

The January Sale will commence at 11am next Tuesday morning with a day of NH Mares and Foals and continue on Wednesday from 10am with a day of Horses-in-Training and Point-to-Pointers, the latter of which will be offered in a dedicated session. The 27 supplementary entries feature NH Mares and Foals, Horses-in-Training and Pointers and include:  

  • Lot 161, SMART TALK, a four-time winner on the track including a Gr.2 Mares’ Hurdle and Listed Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle. She is a own-sister to the Gr.1 & Gr.2 placed Idle Talk and is described by Time Form as a ‘big, good topped mare’. Offered with a breeding certificate. 
  • 260, Woodbrook Boy (5YO G by Doyen), winner of his last two P2P starts for John Hanlon, a 4YO Maiden at Barbury Castle on 16 December and a Winner of One by seven-lengths at Tinahely on 23 January. 
  • 264, Presentandcounting (5YO G by Presenting), the impressive twelve-length winner of his most recent P2P for Philip Dempsey at Aghabullogue on 13 January. 
  • 265, Vinnie Dev (5YO G by Vinnie Roe), placed third on his debut in a 4YO maiden P2P for Ashleigh Murphy at Lingstown on 25 November and third again on his most recent start behind Eclair Des Sablons at Tinahely on 13 January. 
  • 267, Dime A Dozen (5YO M by Jeremy), winner of her most recent P2P for John Hanlon at Tinahely on 13 January. 
  • 274, Dolphin Square (5YO G by Shantou), winner of his most recent P2P for Tom Keating at Templenacarriga on 6 January. 
  • 276, Tour De Pub (5YO G by Aizavoski), the five-length winner of his most recent P2P for Ryan Potter at Sheriff Hutton on 13 January. 

Other hugely promising racing prospects to feature in the sale include the Colin Tizzard trained MASTER DEBONAIR (Lot 256), a five-year-old gelding by Yeats and the winner of two of his three Bumper starts including a Listed Bumper at Cheltenham on his most recent appearance.
