The record breaking Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale, which saw 32 lots make over €100,000, has created an air of anticipation surrounding the release of the August National Hunt Sale catalogue which is now online. The catalogue plays host to 662 National Hunt two, three and four-year-olds and the sale takes place on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 August starting at 10am each day.
146 stallions are represented with progeny in the catalogue including leading sires King’s Theatre, Presenting (6), Kayf Tara (3), sire of multiple Grade 1 August National Hunt Sale graduate THISTLECRACK, Flemensfirth (13), Beneficial (14), Milan (21), Oscar (19), Westerner (23), Robin des Champs (2) and Saddler Maker, sire of the top Lot that made €255,000 at the most recent Derby Sale along with promising sires Ask (22), Blue Bresil, Fame And Glory, Geordieland, Getaway (33), Rule Of Law (4), Schiaparelli (4), Watar (4) and Yeats (6). Also catalogued are a number of horses that missed their date with the Derby Sale and are sure to attract attention at the August National Hunt Sale.
Catalogues for the sale will be available from next week and all three and four-year-olds catalogued for the sale are eligible for the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland George Mernagh Memorial Sales Bumper 2017.
