Twelve Wild Card entries added to the Tattersalls Ireland Ascot July Sale

The Tattersalls Ireland Ascot July Sale to be held on Tuesday 12 July at the earlier start time of 10.30am has been further enhanced by the addition of twelve Wild Card entries to complete a catalogue of over 200 lots. The sale also includes a select session of 36 winning and placed bumper horses and Point-to-Pointers all sold with a pre-sale veterinary certificate.

Vendors have supported the July Sale with a quality collection of bloodstock to appeal to a wide audience of clients. Consignors include: Godolphin (23), Henry Candy, Mick Channon, Sir Mark Prescott Bt, Andrew Balding, Karl Burke, Tom Dascombe, Rebecca Menzies, David Pipe, Philip Hobbs, Gordon Elliott, Colin Bowe, Denis Murphy, Donnachda and Sean Doyle, Philip Rothwell, Tim Vaughan, David Loder, Robert Walford, Emma Lavelle, Dan Skelton, Paul Nolan, Jonjo O'Neill, Rebecca Curtis, Sophie Leech etc.

Wild Card Entries Include:

Lot 105A Bere Haven six-year-old gelding by Papal Bull: the impressive 8 length debut winner of the 6yo+ Geldings Maiden Point-to-Point at Tralee on 28 May 2016, with a subsequent winner to have come out of the race, his only start to date.

Lot 118A Sweet Belle six-year-old mare by Black Sam Bellamy: The impressive 10 length winner of The Open Mares Maiden Point-to-Point at Hereford Point-to-Point course on 29 May.

Lot 128A Fortified Bay four-year-old gelding by Makfi: The 2 1⁄4 length debut winner of the NH Flat Race over 2m at Perth on 30 June.

Lot 129A Calzini Bianchi five-year-old mare by Scorpion: Placed 2nd beaten only 3 1⁄2 lengths on debut in the INH Flat Race at Down Royal on 17 June.

Lot 170A Don't Wait Up five-year-old gelding by Tobougg: Placed 2nd in the competitive 5yo Geldings Maiden Point-to-Point at Dromahane on 22 May. He is out of a half sister to CROCADEE.
