Important information for Goffs London Sale

breeding

The Goffs London Sale in association with QIPCO will be held next Monday 13th June in The Orangery at Kensington Palace. The sale has two parts, a selection of unraced breeze up two-year-olds followed by horses-in-training and breeding stock.

BREEZE UP
The Breeze Up takes place at 11am on Sunday morning at Kempton Park Racecourse.

Approximately 20 unraced two-year-olds will be breezed on the turf course, with an option to go on the Polytrack.  Breeze Up footage will be available to view on the Goffs website from 1pm on Sunday.

The Breeze Up horses will be available for inspection at Kempton Park Racecourse throughout Sunday and on Monday morning but will not be present in London for the sale.  There will be an opportunity to see the horses both breeze and walk on-screen in London.

There will be no bidding facility in Kempton and anybody requiring access to The Orangery may collect a badge after the breeze on Sunday morning.   In addition the horses will be wind tested by the Goffs veterinary panel on the morning of the sale.

HORSES-IN-TRAINING & BREEDING STOCK
All entries are now closed for the Horses In Training section.  Pedigrees are available online.  On the page for each horse there is relevant race footage and Sirecam footage of each lot at their trainer’s stable.

The supplementary entries are Lots 42 to 50 and their pages are available on the online catalogue.  There will also be a supplementary catalogue available at Kempton on Sunday and at The Orangery on Monday.

All horses in training will have been pre-vetted by either Mathilde Texier (UK and France) or Mark Macredmond (Ireland).  Veterinary reports (and x-rays if required) are available on request from Goffs or directly from the vets themselves.

Anybody wishing to purchase a horse scheduled to run at Royal Ascot must be registered as an owner with the BHA in advance of the sale.  Click here for important information regarding the transfer of ownership.

Horses currently trained in France and USA must remain with their current trainers until after Royal Ascot, but can change ownership provided the new owner is registered as per the above.

THE ORANGERY
Please note that access to The Orangery is by badge only due to restriction on numbers.  Potential purchasers may contact Goffs on +353 45 886600 for credit clearance by 5pm on Friday 10th June.

The venue opens at 3pm and auction begins at 5pm.  The complex does not offer Wi-Fi but does have extensive 3G and 4G.
