The catalogue for the Goffs UK December Sale at Doncaster, a new sale for 2018, is now online and will offer 212 Flat Foals, Mares and Horses-in-Training on Friday 7 December.
The sale will commence at 10am with 101 Horses-in-Training followed by over 70 Flat Foals and 39 Flat Mares. Supplementary entries are being taken for the sale and some of the current highlights include:
Flat Foals
- Lot 119, an Equiano colt out of a half-sister to the Champion 2YO CROESO CARIAD and the Gr.1 placed MONA LISA.
- 130, a Gregorian half-brother to the Listed winner OFFICER SYDNEY and out of the dual Listed winning Pivotal mare MORENA PARK.
- 133, an Ivawood half-sister to the Gr.3 placed Number Theory and from the family of the Gr.1 winner IMPERAL DANCER.
- 156, a Cable Bay filly out of the Listed winning mare TRISKEL and from the family of the Gr.1 winners CLASSIC CLICHE and MY EMMA.
- 158, a Territories half-brother to the Gr.3 placed Hurricane Hollow and out of the Gr.3 placed mare Veenwouden.
- 161, a Maxios colt out of a half-sister to the Gr.3 winner DANELISSIMA and Gr.3 placed Daneleta, dam of the Gr.1 winner and sire INTENSE FOCUS.
- 168, a Due Diligence colt out of the four-time winning and Listed placed mare Bubbly Ballerina.
- 181, a Swiss Spirit colt out of the dual Listed winning mare FORTUNATELY.
Horses-in-Training
- Lot 59, HAKAM, a six-time winner on the Flat including the Gr.3 Altia Polar Cup in August and a Class 2 Handicap on his last start at Lingfield on 17 November. BHA Flat rated 96.
- 65, BOURNVILLE, unbeaten in two Newcastle Bumper starts, her most recent in February this year.
- 74, JAMESBROOK, winner of his most recent Point-to-Point at Moig South on 4 November.
- 75, MIGHTY STOWAWAY, winner of two Chases with both coming on his last two starts, his most recent at Punchestown on 18 November.
- 76, PEACOCKS SECRET, winner of two Chases with both coming on his last two starts, his most recent at Naas on 10 November.
- 77, OAK VINTAGE, a six-time winner over Fences with five of those victories coming in 2018, his most recent at Sedgefield on 2 October.
- 81, DANZAN, a 3YO and the winner of three Flat races from just ten starts with a further four placings. BHA Flat rated 100.
- 87, NORTHWEST FRONTIER, a 4YO by Galileo who has won four races on the flat, three of which were over two-miles in 2018. BHA Flat rated 90.
Flat Breeding Stock
The final session of the sale includes the Listed winners CLINET (Lot 225) and HALICARDIA (Lot 234), Gr.3 producer Time Of Gold (Lot 217), mares by sires including Cape Cross, Danehill Dancer, Dark Angel, Invincible Spirit, Oasis Dream and Pivotal and covering sires which feature Brazen Beau, Cable Bay, Jack Hobbs and Swiss Spirit.
