Madam Dancealot to sell in Goffs Champions Sale

Madam Dancealot, the impressive winner of the Group 3 Dick Poole Fillies Stakes at Salisbury on Thursday, has been entered in the Goffs Champions Sale that will take place before racing at Leopardstown next Saturday on Irish Champions Weekend.

Madam Dancealot is trained by Joe Tuite for Mrs Olivia Hoare who purchased her for £100,000 through Kern Lillingston Association at this year’s Goffs London Sale in association with QIPCO after she had finished a close second to subsequent Group 2 Richmond Stakes and July Stakes winner Mehmas on her debut in May. The Tally Ho Stud bred two year old daughter of leading first season sire Sir Prancealot is from a Group 1 family. Since selling in London she has won a maiden at Newbury in July and landed her first Group win in great style on Thursday.

Goffs Champions Sale, held in conjunction with Ireland’s premier luxury department store Brown Thomas, is a boutique horses in training sale with the highest average price of any Irish bloodstock auction in history.  Similar to the Goffs London Sale on the eve of Royal Ascot, the Leopardstown sale capitalises on the large number of international buyers in town for racing during Champions Weekend.  Horses have sold for prices of €470,000, €450,000, €400,000 etc., and to buyers from around the world.  A limited number of late entries will be accepted until Wednesday 7th.
