Weatherbys launches artworker apprenticeship programme
July was an important month for the Weatherbys Commercial Division as they welcomed their first artworker apprentice, 16-year-old Ocean Davies-Dolman, to their Printing Services team.
The three year apprenticeship programme will see Ocean trained in all aspects of artworking, including digital printing, pre-press and digital artwork.
The provision of mentoring, both internally and via the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) - who also provide regular off-site training, is a key element of the programme.
Weatherbys are delighted to be working with the BPIF in this venture and hope that this is the beginning of more apprentices joining the company to develop their skills and careers.
