Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement

weatherbys

Weatherbys has had long established contingency plans to ensure continuity of our services.

We are continuing to run our Headquarters in Wellingborough and our other offices in Britain and Ireland on a business-as-usual basis but with visitor access restrictions in place.

We have three continuity options in place to support our Wellingborough Headquarters and other offices:

  • Our own dedicated, in-house continuity facility with 58 desks which we have had in place for more than 15 years;
  • a contract with a business continuity company or ‘availability service’ providing a further reserved office space option; and
  • remote working capabilities.

These continuity facilities provide full communications switchover.

As the seriousness of this outbreak grows we have taken the decision to activate our secondary site and as a result of this 50 members of staff from all departments will work from there from the beginning of this week.

The selection of these staff has been prioritised on criticality of service continuity.

Our integrated solution provides remote access, with a number of staff already utilising this facility from home.

We are keeping our staff constantly updated on developments and maintaining best practice to reduce infection from spreading, based on Government advice.

We fully appreciate our crucial role within the industry and are giving this situation our full attention and commitment.

We will do everything we can to continue supporting our clients and the industry in general at this difficult time.
