Colin Bowe is tempted by running Shantou Flyer in Sunday's Bar One Racing Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse.
The five-year-old has hit top gear over fences of late, winning at Cheltenham in October before landing the Grade Two Florida Pearl Chase last time out.
Having won four of his seven chases he has far more experience over the bigger obstacles than most of his possible rivals, something Bowe feels is a positive.
"He's in great form and while I appreciate he's been busy, he has a lot of experience and it's a very big pot," said Bowe.
"The ground doesn't bother him, he's won on good and heavy, but over this sort of trip (two and a half miles) he'd probably want a bit of dig.
"So, while I haven't decided yet, it's very tempting."
