Micky Hammond took two new recruits from Ireland along with stable star Just Cameron for a racecourse gallop after racing at Wetherby on Wednesday.

Hammond is still considering next week's Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown for Just Cameron, who got closer than any rival to Un De Sceaux at Punchestown, but he also has an option over hurdles at Wetherby on the same day.

Silver Tassie, formerly trained by Noel Meade, worked with plenty of zest alongside the 149-rated Just Cameron, while Rathlin has joined from Mouse Morris and is on target for the Betfred Grand Sefton Handicap Chase at Aintree on December 5.

"Just Cameron is coming along nicely and we're still considering the Tingle Creek," said Hammond.

"I know at this stage it looks like being red-hot with Un De Sceaux coming over and Simonsig and Sprinter Sacre in the mix, too. But even if they run, there still might only be five or six runners and there's a lot of money up for grabs.

"If we decide against the Tingle Creek, there's a hurdle race at Wetherby the same day he could start off in.

"Silver Tassie looks a nice type, he worked well there, and Rathlin will go for the Grand Sefton. He's come from Mouse Morris and was once rated very high and has now dropped a bit in the weights.

"He was third in the Topham last season and seemed to love it over those fences."
